Introduction - First post!

Hey everyone,

so this is my very first blogpost ever! I've been thinking of creating a blog forever, but I never got around to it and was also a bit intimidated, as I wasn't sure I'd be able to handle all the technical stuff, but it turns out it's not too complicated after all, yay!

I've been on Instagram for about a little over a year, I stumbled across it one day and thought I could post pictures of my nails there and maybe also get some inspiration for nailart, too. I discovered the nailart community and was totally overwhelmed, it's such a beautiful and ispirational place full of lovely people!

Like everyone else, I started out with crappy naildesigns, terrible lighting and awful cuticles.. but over time I have improved, if I may say so myself. It just takes a lot of time and practice!
I've met so many lovely ladies, done fun collaboratins like bestie twin nails and mani swaps, nailmail across the planet and have hosted two nailart contests and one giveaway! But one thing I always wanted to do is write a bit more about a picture, and instagrammers tend to not read the whole caption or simply don't want to know anything about the picture (at least I've come to feel that is the case). Of course I have to say that is not the case with everyone on IG ;)
I don't want to bore people on Instagram with a big fat caption and decided to create a place where I can just ramble on about whatever I want :)

So here goes nothing! I'm going to write about whatever I feel like and I hope to maybe help some of you by sharing my opinion.

Lots of love,

  1. Yay! I'm so happy to hear you made a blog, I've been waiting for the day :p I love your nails
